The goal of the Language Keepers Project is to preserve languages athat are in fear of extinction. Our group is working with the Passamaquody Indians to keep their language alive. My involvement with the project ranges from teaching native speakers how to collect and preserve their language using video technology to editing, subtitling and uploading the content to an online dicttionary.

Film Chowdah: Maine College Film Festival

Film Chowdah aims to create a breeding ground for young talent as students get a chance to not only view other students work, but also begin networking with those students as well as industry professionals. In it's first year, Film Chowdah accepted submissions from USM, SMCC and MECA. The screening will be held on April 30th at the Maine Film Studios
